WebKit

Desk tabs run WebKit, the same engine as Sikemux itself and Safari. A page that works on the desk works in Safari. When an agent checks a page, it checks it here rather than in a headless Chromium.

Because it is Safari’s engine, a page that only supports Chrome may look or behave differently on the desk. Open it in your own browser to compare.

A tab’s page text, network calls and console cover the top page only, not frames from other sites inside it.
