At a glance
| Command | grok |
| Chat in Sikemux | Yes, and its own TUI |
| Permission modes | Normal and YOLO |
| Effort levels | none, minimal, low, medium, high, xhigh, max |

Install
curl -fsSL https://x.ai/cli/install.sh | bashIt installs to ~/.grok/bin/grok and adds a block to your shell’s startup file so grok is on your PATH. Sikemux finds it in ~/.grok/bin either way.
grok loginGrok has no sign-in check Sikemux can ask, so a chat refused for want of a sign-in marks it signed out and offers Sign in to Grok.
How Sikemux runs it
A chat runs grok agent --no-leader stdio. Grok normally shares one background process between its windows. --no-leader gives each chat its own, so one chat’s approvals never reach another.
Like Hermes, Grok runs in a private home Sikemux prepares. That’s how it gets the skills library and a plugin that checks its shell commands, since Grok’s own login PATH puts the system git ahead of Sikemux’s.
